What Areas Should You Monitor for Leaks? Start Here.

Most people only think to look for leaks when they see water. By then, it’s often too late.

The best places to install leak detection sensors are:

  • Under sinks (especially kitchens and bathrooms)
  • Behind toilets
  • Near water heaters and boilers
  • In mechanical rooms
  • Under HVAC units (especially in condos or offices)

One of the most overlooked hot spots? Refrigerator lines. We’ve seen these fail and quietly flood hardwood floors.

Wireless sensors are small and easy to install. They just sit and wait — and if they detect moisture, they send an alert before a small problem becomes a big one.
